Thrown into the Fire

Thrown into the Fire

King Nebuchadnezzar becomes furious when Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refuse to bow to the golden statue. His face turns red with anger, and he cannot believe that anyone would dare to defy his command. In his rage, he gives an extreme order—he commands that the fiery furnace be heated seven times hotter than usual. The flames grow larger, roaring like a mighty beast, and the heat becomes so intense that it radiates outward, making it nearly impossible to stand close.

The king then orders his strongest soldiers to tie up the three men tightly with ropes so they cannot escape. The soldiers grab them, bind them securely, and lead them toward the deadly fire. Without hesitation, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego are thrown straight into the furnace. The flames leap around them, and the fire blazes fiercely. But something incredible happens—the fire does not harm them! The flames that should have burned them instantly have no effect. Instead of being consumed, they remain completely unharmed inside the furnace.
