The Fourth Figure in the Fire

The Fourth Figure in the Fire

As King Nebuchadnezzar watches the three men being thrown into the blazing furnace, he expects them to be instantly consumed by the flames. The fire is so hot that even the soldiers who pushed them in have collapsed from the heat. But then, something shocking happens.

Nebuchadnezzar leans forward, his eyes widening in disbelief. He calls out to his officials and advisors, pointing toward the furnace. “Didn’t we throw three men into the fire, bound with ropes?” he asks. The officials nod, confirming that only Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown in.

But inside the fire, something miraculous is happening. Instead of three men burning, there are now four figures walking freely in the flames. The ropes that had tied the men are gone, yet they are completely unharmed—the fire does not touch them. And the fourth figure is unlike any ordinary man. He shines with a radiant glow, looking like a divine being, full of power and majesty.

Nebuchadnezzar’s anger turns to shock and fear. He realizes that this is no ordinary event—something supernatural is happening before his very eyes.

Bible Verse: “I see four men walking in the fire, unbound and unharmed.” (Daniel 3:25)
