The King’s Amazement

After witnessing the unbelievable sight inside the furnace, King Nebuchadnezzar is completely shocked. He had expected Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to be burned up instantly, but instead, they were walking freely in the fire along with a mysterious fourth figure, who looked like a divine being. The fire had not harmed them at all.
Overcome with awe, Nebuchadnezzar rushes closer to the furnace and calls out to the three men, his voice filled with urgency and amazement. “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out!” he commands.
To everyone’s astonishment, the three men step out of the furnace without any hesitation. The crowd watches in silence, barely believing their eyes. As they walk forward, it becomes clear that not only are they completely unharmed, but their clothes are untouched, their hair is not singed, and they don’t even smell like smoke. The deadly flames had no power over them at all.
Nebuchadnezzar, once furious at their defiance, now stands in reverence. He looks at them, then at the furnace, and finally, he raises his voice in front of all his officials, soldiers, and advisors. He declares that their God—the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego—is truly powerful, greater than any other. No other god could have saved them in such a miraculous way.
Humbled and amazed, the mighty king of Babylon now acknowledges the power of the one true God.

Bible Verse: “There is no other god who can save in this way.” (Daniel 3:29)
