The Angel Protects Daniel
That night, after Daniel was thrown into the den of hungry lions as punishment for praying to God, something miraculous happened. Instead of attacking him, the lions remained calm and did not harm him. This was because God sent an angel to protect Daniel by shutting the mouths of the lions. When the king came the next morning, he was amazed to see Daniel safe and unharmed.
Bible Verse: “My God sent His angel, and He shut the mouths of the lions.” (Daniel 6:22)
