The Birth of Isaac

The Birth of Isaac

For many years, Sarah and Abraham longed to have a child but remained childless. They had nearly lost hope, especially as they grew older. But God had made a promise to Abraham—that he would have a son, even though it seemed impossible.

One day, just as God had said, Sarah became pregnant. Despite her old age, she gave birth to a baby boy, whom they named Isaac. Holding her newborn son in her arms, Sarah was overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. Abraham, too, was filled with happiness, knowing that God had kept His word. This moment was a testament to God’s faithfulness—what seemed impossible to human eyes was made possible through God’s power and grace.

“Now the Lord was gracious to Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did for Sarah what he had promised. Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very time God had promised him.”
