Comforting Bathsheba

David went to Bathsheba to console her in her sorrow after the loss of their first child. He offered her comfort and support during this difficult time. Eventually, Bathsheba became pregnant again and gave birth to a son. They named him Solomon, a name that would later become famous in history. Unlike their previous child, Solomon was specially loved by God, and He had great plans for him. This child would grow up to become a wise and powerful king of Israel, playing a crucial role in God’s plan for His people.
2 Samuel 12:24 – “Then David comforted his wife Bathsheba, and he went to her and made love to her. She gave birth to a son, and they named him Solomon. The Lord loved him.”
