Samson in Gaza
Samson traveled to the city of Gaza, where the people known as the Philistines surrounded him. The Philistines had been plotting to capture him because he was a powerful and feared man. They thought they had him trapped, but something incredible happened. In the middle of the night, when everyone was asleep and it seemed like there was no way out, Samson displayed an extraordinary act of strength. He went to the city’s gates, grabbed hold of them, and with his immense power, he lifted the gates off their hinges. Then, he carried the heavy gates all the way to the top of a hill, far away from the city. This remarkable act showed that, even though the Philistines thought they had trapped him, Samson’s strength was unbeatable and came from a higher power.
