Samson’s First Love: Semadar

One day, Samson saw a beautiful Philistine woman named Semadar and was immediately drawn to her. He wanted to marry her and told his parents about his desire. However, his parents were not pleased with his choice. They asked him, “Is there no woman among our own people, the Israelites, whom you could marry? Why must you choose a wife from the Philistines, who are our enemies?” But Samson was determined and replied firmly, “She is the one who looks right to me, and I want to marry her.” (Judges 14:3)
