The Betrayal of Semadar

Semadar was under pressure from the Philistines, who were determined to solve Samson’s riddle. Fearing for her safety, she repeatedly begged and persuaded Samson to tell her the answer. Eventually, Samson gave in and revealed the secret to her. However, Semadar then passed the answer to the Philistines. When they later solved the riddle correctly, Samson immediately realized that he had been betrayed by Semadar and that she had given away his secret.
