The Israelites Enter Canaan

After Moses passed away, Joshua became the new leader of the Israelites. Under God’s guidance, he led them on a journey to finally enter the land that God had promised to their ancestors. When they reached the Jordan River, God performed a miracle, just as He had done before at the Red Sea. The waters parted, allowing the Israelites to cross safely into the Promised Land. This was a significant moment, as it marked the beginning of a new chapter for God’s people.

Bible Verse:
“Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9
This verse was a reminder to Joshua that even though he was facing a huge responsibility, he didn’t need to be afraid. God promised to be with him and give him strength, just as He does for all who trust in Him.
