Rising to the Sky (Genesis 11:4)

The tower stretched higher and higher into the sky, its massive structure a testament to human ingenuity and ambition. As the people watched it grow, they were filled with awe and pride, marveling at what they had accomplished together. Some began to think that their achievements made them equal to God, believing that their own intelligence and skill were the sole reasons for their success. They became so confident in their abilities that they forgot an important truth—everything they had, including their strength and wisdom, was given to them by God. In their pride, they failed to recognize the true source of their power.

Bible verse: “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.” Genesis 11:4
