Confusion Begins (Genesis 11:7)

One day, God looked down upon the people who were building a massive tower in the city of Babel. They were working together with a single language, determined to reach the heavens. But God saw that their pride and ambition would only lead them away from Him.

So He said, “Come, let Us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.” (Genesis 11:7)

The next morning, the city was in complete chaos. Workers arrived at the tower site as usual, ready to continue their construction. But something was different—when they spoke to each other, their words no longer made sense. A simple request for a hammer turned into confusion. Instructions from the builders were misunderstood, leading to misplaced tools and broken materials. Arguments broke out as frustration spread.

People who had once worked together in perfect harmony were suddenly divided. They could no longer communicate, and their once-great project came to a halt. Eventually, they abandoned the tower and scattered across the earth, forming different nations with different languages, just as God had intended.
