The Chaldeans Attack

Another messenger rushed in, breathless and panicked. He cried out, “Master! Three separate groups of Chaldean raiders attacked! They stole all your camels and slaughtered your servants with their swords. It was a brutal ambush, and no one was spared—except for me. I alone managed to escape to bring you this terrible news.”

Verse: “The Chaldeans formed three bands, raided the camels, and killed the servants with the sword. I alone have escaped to tell you.” (Job 1:17)
